Delving further into pollination as a conceptual theme within their work, Autogamy resonates from experiences the artist started having this past spring, specifically within a  solo studio context of their practice - morphing into something more relational vs. actionable. Almost flirtatious in nature - as with flowers to insects - the plants offer a collaboration to conceive fruit.

Unlike the artist’s other deeply collaborative work, time spent in-studio has ripened into its own entity, causing the outcome to be a sort of self-pollination. Autogamy, explored through the intimate means of stereoscopy,  shows the varied stages experienced when in relationship to practice.
