GET YOUR KICKS in 2066

KICKS is an evolving satirical work, set in the imagined dystopian year of 2066.

Revolving around three main sources of creative nutrients - sex, capitalism + climate change. Conveyed through immersive structure, projection video work, print + interactive performance.

Exploring the notion + presenting an artist’s rendition of what that could potentially look like: 

• if we continue to consume what the earth has to offer with such voracity

• the evolved versions of ourselves if kept on an trajectory that pedestals swipe + throw away pop culture

• a jarring visual of what state the natural world could seriously be in by the year 2066

Still in its infancy, I predict KICKS to be a long ride, as it develops + grows into a piece with the depth of character, I know it to have the potential to possess.
